In British Columbia, medical physicians regularly refer their patients to a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) - and they make these referrals because massage therapy is both accessible and effective in the treatment of their patients' conditions. Today, RMTs use a blend of modern science and ancient philosophies, utilizing specific techniques and modalities.

Over the past decade, there has been a significant rise in the demand for massage therapy in BC. This can be attributed to higher educational standards, research studies showing the efficacy of massage therapy, and an overall increase in public demand for non-surgical and drug-free treatment options.

RMTs work with illness, injury and disability in diverse and broad patient populations. They are primary health care professionals that focus on disorders of the musculoskeletal and related systems.

Treatment and management of many health conditions by massage therapists is supported by research.

Hannah has been an RMT and trusted part of the healthcare community for over 14 years.

Through ongoing training, she uses a collection of techniques like osteopathic myofascial-release, pressure/trigger point therapy, and positional-release therapy to help target a variety of concerns. These skills help manage issues such as chronic neck/back pain, postural imbalances, headaches and migraines, sports maintenance needs, stress/anxiety, and more.

After becoming a mom to two children (both born with tongue-ties and early feeding difficulties), Hannah discovered an additional passion for supporting newborns and their families during those critical early days. She completed her training as a Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist, and sought out additional training for newborn/infant feeding issues, assessing newborn oral-motor skills, improving breastfeeding outcomes via bodywork, and treating fascial-tension issues that arise before and after birth (such as torticollis).

Regardless of age, Hannah commits to offering her experience in a welcoming space where clients are respected and genuinely cared for. Whether for proactive care for your newborn, or pain relief for yourself, she looks forward to being a part of your journey.
